Sidcom Limited was registered in February 1994, a year of many changes in the industry. A year that saw GSM really taking off in the UK, the SIM card had arrived and the old analogue phones started to find their way into the bin.
Previously trading as a sole trader under Sidlaw Communications, since 1986, the
move to a limited company was a natural progression.
Lacking imagination the first
3 letters from the old name were used and Sidcom was born.
